We are looking for a Part-time Intern to join our Evaluation & Outcomes Program with our HQ Team! This is an unpaid summer internship for students completing a master's or bachelor's degree in social work, applied psychology, or related fields. We are offering one summer internship opportunity in the Evaluation & Outcomes Program at our HQ center. Metropolitan Family Services’ (MFS) Evaluation & Outcomes team provides monitoring, evaluation, and data strategy support for MFS. We focus on a wide spectrum of data-related activities in the areas of education, emotional wellness, economic stability, and empowerment. Evaluation interns work in a highly collaborative, learning- oriented environment on a wide variety of project components, including logic models, quantitative and qualitative data collection, secondary data mining/analysis, dashboard and visualization design, and data dissemination (including infographics and presentations). Interns may work on some or all of the following: Survey design & REDCap builds (satisfaction surveys, pre/post surveys) Data analysis & visualization (survey data, dashboards, data cleaning) Qualitative analysis (coding open-ended responses) Literature reviews & research (e.g., evaluation approaches in legal aid/DV) Community needs assessment support (data prep, analysis, reporting) REDCap automation & general data systems support Additional evaluation support (logic models, documentation, cross-team projects)

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an applied psychology, social work, public health, or related program at a bachelor's or master's level.
  • Satisfactorily pass all relevant screening and criminal background checks
