About The Position
The IMA Group is hiring a Medical Assistant to help facilitate structured medical evaluations in a clinic setting. This position focuses on supporting providers and ensuring a smooth, efficient patient experience. There are no on-call requirements for this role.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in a medical or clinical environment required
- Strong interpersonal skills with a detail-oriented approach
Nice To Haves
- Formal MA training preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is beneficial but not required
Responsibilities
- Partner with providers during patient assessment visits
- Collect and document vital signs, histories, and basic health data
- Complete clinical tasks such as blood draws, EKGs, and screenings
- Prepare and restock exam rooms; maintain equipment readiness
- Support accurate documentation and patient flow throughout the day
