EV Sales Consultant - San Diego, CA

Ever is building the future of auto retail as the first AI-native auto retail platform. We are creating the next $100B+ automotive business, starting with electric vehicles. Our AI-native product and operations power our full-stack auto retail business, serving EV buyers and sellers nationwide, both online and offline. Based in San Francisco and expanding nationally, we are backed by leading investors and led by experienced professionals from top tech and automotive companies. Following our recent Series A financing, we have raised $100M in total funding and are rapidly growing. We are seeking exceptional talent to join our mission of building the next-generation auto retail platform.
Requirements
- 1–5+ years of automotive or consultative sales experience
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean, acceptable driving record
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer-first mindset with a relationship-driven approach
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Comfortable selling both in-person and digitally
- Coachable, motivated, and competitive
- Organized with strong follow-up discipline
- Passion for EVs and sustainable transportation
- Experience using CRM tools (VinSolutions, eLead, etc.)
- Comfort with digital retail platforms and e-signature tools
- Ability to manage leads across multiple channels
- Strong written communication (email & SMS)

- Basic understanding of financing workflows a plus
Responsibilities
- Guide customers through the EV buying journey, both in-person and remotely
- Respond to inbound leads and proactively follow up with prospects
- Conduct test drives and product demonstrations
- Drive vehicles between showroom and storage lots
- Educate customers on EV technology, incentives, charging, and ownership costs
- Build trust through a consultative, no-pressure sales approach
- Close deals and hit monthly volume and revenue targets
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline management
- Partner closely with Customer Experience, Finance, and Delivery teams
- Provide feedback to Product and Ops on customer needs and objections
- Represent Ever’s brand and values on the showroom floor
