About The Position

The ETF Trader will work on Invesco’s ETF Trading team, which trades a broad range of financial instruments on behalf of the firm’s Commodity and Equity ETFs. Under the supervision of senior traders, the successful candidate will execute trades and contribute to the efficient management of Invesco’s ETF platform. The role offers opportunities to develop expertise across global equity markets, derivatives, commodities, and portfolio implementation strategies while working alongside experienced ETF traders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in asset management, trading, capital markets, investment operations, portfolio analytics, or a related financial services role.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to build strong working relationships across teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to conduct complex analysis and present data in a meaningful way.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bloomberg Terminal.
• FINRA Series 57 license required, or ability to obtain it within a specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Execute trades under the supervision of senior traders, in accordance with SEC and SRO regulations and best execution standards.
• Trade multi-asset orders associated with index events, rebalances and reconstitutions, rolls, and creations and redemptions, using a variety of trading strategies, technologies, and market venues.
• Partner with fund managers to provide market intelligence, discuss implementation considerations, and identify opportunities to improve execution outcomes.
• Liaise between the trading desk and supporting functions, including capital markets, investment operations, compliance, legal, and other stakeholders, to resolve issues.
• Maintain awareness of developments in market structure, liquidity, regulations, and trading technology.
• Participate in meetings with brokers and other industry representatives to develop relationships, gather market intelligence, and stay informed about industry trends.
