About The Position

White Swan Data is expanding its Racing and Sports execution team and is seeking an energetic, curious person to join its in-house fixed odds team. The role involves working with betting markets and managing trading activity. It requires availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts, including some unsociable hours. Requirements

• BSc in Mathematics or a similar discipline, such as physics, economics, or engineering.
• Strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
• Ability to follow instructions precisely and communicate technical issues clearly.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends, including some early mornings and late nights.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks and manage time proficiently.

• A good understanding of betting and odds.

Responsibilities

• Manage the trading system to maximise trade volume and achieve target metrics.
• Work with developers and quants to improve the trading system by providing practical feedback.
• Work with the operational support team to optimise the trading pipeline.
• Resolve practical problems quickly to minimise trading downtime.
