About The Position
The ETF Operations Senior Analyst/Assistant Vice President is an intermediate-level position on the Operations - Transaction Services team. The role participates in fund operations, with the overall objective of assisting with collateral management and settlement of ETF primary market orders.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working in the ETF industry or a related field, with 5–7 or more years of total work experience.
- Knowledge of domestic and international markets, including prior experience in EEA markets, emerging markets, Asia Pacific, and North America.
- Knowledge of custody and/or fund accounting, particularly as it relates to ETFs.
- Demonstrated subject matter expert (SME) knowledge in a related area.
- Ability to work in a structured, high-volume, time-sensitive, high-risk, and demanding environment.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree, university degree, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Process and settle ETF creation and redemption orders for the primary market.
- Arrange ETF creation and redemption settlements, both in-kind and cash.
- Maintain positive relationships with sponsors and clients.
- Oversee settlement of secondary market trades when creating and redeeming on behalf of a client.
- Process ETF collateral and calculate P&L.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and provide guidance to resolve problems, escalations, and complex or escalated transactions.
- Support efforts for larger, complex, and global clients.
- Assist with identifying and implementing process standards and improvements to enhance efficiencies.
- Assist in training and coaching new team members.
