About The Position

The ETF Basket Specialist oversees the daily production of required Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) files, calculates gains and losses on cash-in-lieu trades, prepares exchange listing documents, coordinates reporting needs for new ETFs, and serves as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders. The role leads a team of Operations Specialists, stays current on industry updates, and answers operational questions for ETF clients. It also works with fund clients during ETF launches and communicates daily ETF operations to clients and other business lines within Global Fund Services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• One to two years of direct experience, or three to five years of related experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience directly related to ETF Operations, including basket production, client onboarding, or trade settlement.
• Knowledge of NSCC eligibility requirements, capital markets, and exchange listing rules.
• Understanding of the ETF create/redeem process.
• Experience working directly with issuers, market makers, authorized participants, and sub advisors.
• General knowledge and understanding of legal, regulatory, and accounting principles that directly affect the ETF industry and its clients.
• Experience managing multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production of required ETF files.
