ESY Occupational Therapist – (District-Wide)
About The Position
Waltham Public Schools is seeking dynamic Occupational Therapists (OT) for our ESY program to support students with diverse fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care needs across all program strands. This role is designed for students who require continued occupational therapy services to maintain functional skills, improve sensory regulation, and ensure successful participation in school-based activities. The position concludes with the drafting of participation summary reports detailing occupational and sensory outcomes for each student on the caseload.
Requirements
- Hold a valid license as an Occupational Therapist from the appropriate state licensing board and/or DESE.

Responsibilities
- Providing individual and small-group occupational therapy sessions as mandated by student IEPs.
- Reviewing student records to ensure that fine motor, visual-motor, and sensory goals are addressed with fidelity.
- Maintaining accurate service logs and progress data.
- Drafting participation summary reports detailing occupational and sensory outcomes for each student on the caseload.
Benefits
- Compensation: $40.00 per hour
- Total Stipend: $5,600.00 (Includes 20 session days and 10 hours of pre- and post-program administrative work)
