About The Position

CPDLF is seeking ESY Instructor(s) from its current Special Education Teacher team to provide instruction to learners with special needs, aiming to prevent learning regression during the summer. The role involves meeting with learners virtually and in-person as applicable, delivering the required weekly hours of services as specified in each learner's ESY NOREP. The selected candidate(s) will be responsible for creating their own weekly schedule, providing necessary documentation and reports to the ESY Supervisor, and designing/delivering specialized instruction to help learners maintain skills and IEP goal progress.

Requirements

Currently providing special education services for CPDLF learners.
Willingness to meet with learners virtually and in person when applicable.
Ability to create own weekly schedule.
Ability to provide required documentation and reports.
Ability to design and deliver specialized instruction.

Responsibilities

Provide special education services to learners with special needs.
Meet with learners virtually and in-person as applicable.
Deliver the required number of hours of services per week as outlined in the NOREP for ESY for each learner.
Create a weekly schedule of times to meet with each learner.
Provide required documentation and reports to the ESY Supervisor.
Design and deliver specialized instruction to help each learner maintain his/her skills and not lose progress on their IEP goals.
