About The Position

CPDLF is seeking ESY Instructor(s) from its current team of Special Education Teachers to provide instruction to learners with special needs during the summer to prevent learning regression. The role involves meeting with learners virtually and in person, as applicable, to deliver the required hours of services outlined in the NOREP for ESY. The instructor will be responsible for creating their own weekly schedule, providing required documentation and reports to the ESY Supervisor, and designing/delivering specialized instruction to help learners maintain skills and progress on IEP goals. This is an internal posting for the Summer 2026 ESY Instructor position.

Requirements

• Currently providing special education services for CPDLF learners.
• Willingness to meet with learners virtually and in person when applicable.
• Ability to provide the required number of hours of services needed per week as outlined in the NOREP for ESY for each learner.
• Ability to create own weekly schedule.
• Ability to provide required documentation and reports to the ESY Supervisor.
• Ability to design and deliver specialized instruction that will help each learner maintain his/her skills and not lose progress on their IEP goals.
