The Estimator works closely with department staff to produce accurate construction landscape estimates for the Client Relations Managers (CRM). This role also involves staying abreast of new products, product supply, and pricing, as well as maintaining constant communication with the purchasing department to confirm accuracy in costs. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Proficient in Microsoft Office product line

Nice To Haves

2 year college degree in related field preferred but not required
1 year of landscape estimating experience, preferred

Responsibilities

Perform material take-offs and create exhibits of sod, mulch, rock, soils, edging, and root barrier in Take-off software or submit material take-off request to department manager for AI software.
Analyze 'Proposal Request' form from CRM, the plans from Landscape Architect (all components) with department manager.
Input data into the Aspire opportunity per CRM instructions, prepare a purchasing department 'Buy-It' spreadsheet for department administrator, and review with department manager.
Calculate miscellaneous and optional item quantities by completing a 'Project Summary' excel file and review with department manager.
Input miscellaneous, optional items, vendor quotes, purchasing notes and project specific qualifying notes into Aspire and review with department manager.
Review all completed work with department manager.
