About The Position

Tibbetts Lumber Co. LLC is seeking a full-time Install Millwork Estimator. This role involves quantifying millwork, doors, windows, and siding from electronic plans, assigning install values congruent with established installer costs, plan eccentricities, geographic region, and desired job margins. The estimator will input install labor quotes into Bistrack and forward them to sales and customers as required, and also perform material takeoffs for various building materials.

Requirements

High school diploma (An addition of three years of experience may be substituted for the high school diploma)
Two years of experience in residential construction estimating
Ability to read blueprints, including Windows sizes, Door sizes and handing, Stair treads/risers/handrails, Siding, including trim elements
Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel

Responsibilities

Quantify quantities of millwork, doors, windows, and siding from electronic plans
Assign install values congruent with established installer costs, plan eccentricities, geographic region, and desired job margins
Input install labor quotes into Bistrack and forward to sales and customers as required
Perform material takeoffs, including millwork, lumber, siding, and slab steel
Perform all other duties as assigned
