About The Position

Hoffman & Hoffman, Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to support our growing industrial air solutions group. We are looking for someone who enjoys learning, works well in a fast-paced environment, uses available resources effectively, pays close attention to detail, and is willing to jump in and help the sales team. Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience in industrial air, pollution control, manufacturing, mechanical equipment, or technical sales is helpful but not required.
  • Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; training will be provided for the right person.

Responsibilities

  • Review customer requests, project documents, and basic equipment requirements
  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for industrial air and pollution control equipment
  • Provide pricing, product information, and basic application support to customers
  • Collaborate with the sales team, customers, and equipment manufacturers
  • Use web-based pricing, selection, and quoting tools
  • Stay aware of current market pricing and share relevant updates with outside sales and management
  • Assist with order entry and help coordinate equipment deliveries, returns, and warranty items with customers
  • Respond to customer requests regarding products, services, quotes, and order status
  • After customer approval, help ensure equipment is ordered accurately and on time while maintaining clear communication between the customer, sales team, and manufacturers
  • Process and enter sales orders and quotations into the company system
  • Use industry databases and online resources to identify upcoming industrial projects and bid opportunities
  • Assist with preliminary takeoffs and basic equipment selections for upcoming jobs
  • Help develop installation, operation, and maintenance documentation for equipment purchased by customers
  • Work closely with manufacturers and internal team members to help resolve customer and equipment-related issues
  • Assist with coordinating equipment start-up support and warranty-related follow-up
