About The Position
We are seeking an Estimator to join our client, a bespoke joinery and door manufacturer based in Co.Tyrone.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an estimator in the manufacturing or joinery / fit-out industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage and implement the full tendering process from opportunity identification to submission.
- Prepare and analyse detailed cost estimates for designated projects.
- Finalise tenders, including agreeing project overheads and pricing strategies.
- Maintain and update the Pricing Dictionary and estimating procedures.
- Monitor and report on tender opportunities, outcomes, and performance data.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of tender results and cost feedback for future use.
- Support the appointment and management of subcontractors and labour-only subcontractors.
- Provide cost feedback and analysis to improve future tender accuracy and profitability.
- Ensure all departmental activities are delivered within agreed timescales and cost targets.
- Uphold structured processes, quality assurance standards, and contribute to improving market share and profitability.
