Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in the HVAC/Air Compressor trade estimating and managing projects.
  • Project coordination experience.
  • Good communication and organizational skills will be essential.
  • The ability to read and understand building blueprints, and specifications.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Accountability to yourself and your co-workers.
  • State of Michigan mechanical codes and commercial/industrial HVAC systems required.
  • Valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 30 or 510 certifications are a plus
  • State of Michigan Mechanical Contractor License is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all safety protocols are identified and communicated to the field.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with Account Managers for client inquiries, issues, and service requests.
  • Collaborate with Account Management and internal teams to coordinate service estimates, delivery and ensure customers receive timely and effective solutions.
  • Participate in finalizing a complete scope of work in conjunction with other trade service managers and the Account Management team for submission to customers.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with Account Managers and customers to assess satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services or enhancements.
  • Work with account management and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve client issues proactively, ensuring a positive client experience.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and renewals, working closely with the sales team to secure favorable terms for both the client and the company.
  • Attend site visits as needed to review the progress of the service work.
  • Manage material and manpower for assigned service work.
  • Determine the scope of change orders as the service work progresses using appropriate estimating methods
  • Attend safety, training, sales, strategy, and other meetings as required.
