Done Right Hood & Fire Safety is a rapidly growing fire life-safety and mechanical services company specializing in commercial kitchen exhaust systems, fire suppression, fabrication, installation, and compliance services throughout New York City, Long Island, and Westchester County. We partner with some of the region’s most recognized restaurants, hospitality groups, and commercial facilities, delivering reliable solutions built on technical expertise, accountability, and long-term relationships. As our company continues to expand, we are seeking a Field Project Manager who thrives outside the office, someone who leads projects directly in the field and ensures successful execution from start to finish. This is not a drafting-only role. We are looking for a hands-on leader who spends approximately 80% of their time on job sites and 20% coordinating internally. The Field Project Manager is responsible for overseeing mechanical kitchen exhaust and fire suppression projects from kickoff through completion. This role requires an individual comfortable managing active construction environments, coordinating multiple trades, and representing Done Right Hood & Fire Safety directly with clients, contractors, and inspectors. The ideal candidate understands plans and installations but is primarily focused on execution, coordination, and leadership in the field, not sitting behind a desk producing drawings.
