About The Position

Luedeker Homes is seeking an Estimation & Project Development Coordinator for its on-site, full-time role in Bellville, Texas. The position combines residential construction estimating, client communication, and project coordination during project development and pre-construction. The coordinator reviews plans, prepares accurate estimates, organizes project information, and helps ensure projects are ready for production. The role involves working with homeowners, internal team members, vendors, and subcontractors, while maintaining clear records and reliable handoffs. It offers the opportunity to contribute to the company's growth and develop toward a future operations leadership role.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in residential construction, estimating, pre-construction, operations, or project management.
Ability to read and interpret residential construction plans and specifications.
Understanding of construction methods, materials, quantities, and project costs.
Experience coordinating project details with clients, vendors, subcontractors, or internal teams.
Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage priorities, follow through on commitments, and raise questions when information is incomplete or inconsistent.

Nice To Haves

Custom home construction experience.
Familiarity with JobTread or similar construction management software.

Responsibilities

Review residential construction plans and project requirements, and prepare estimates covering scope, materials, labor, and anticipated costs.
Review construction documents and specifications to identify the information needed for accurate estimates.
Validate quantities and costs, investigate discrepancies, and flag questionable figures before projects move forward.
Organize project information and ensure estimates, documentation, and pre-construction requirements are complete.
Coordinate with internal team members, vendors, and subcontractors to gather information for estimating and planning.
Maintain accurate, current estimates and project records in JobTread or other company systems.
Help provide the production team with clear and complete project information before construction begins.
Communicate with homeowners during project development and pre-construction to gather information, clarify requirements, answer questions, and keep the process moving.
Identify opportunities to improve the accuracy and efficiency of estimating, documentation, and project preparation.
Collaborate with Luedeker Homes team members, including existing project development support, to keep work organized and progressing.
