About The Position

The Estimating Intern will complete various tasks on the jobsite safely, responsibly, and productively to gain insight into industry practices and trends. The role offers practical experience that supplements academic coursework and involves working with team members and managers on assigned projects and tasks.

Requirements

Must be enrolled in a degree program at a college or university.
Must possess prior work experience in any field.
Willingness to ask coworkers and foremen questions to learn, avoid unsafe situations, and contribute as a team player.
Ability to communicate with coworkers.
Ability to perform basic mathematical processes, including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, percentages, and ratios.
Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work with coworkers at all levels in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to deal with problems involving specific variables in standardized situations.
Ability to comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and hazardous-material information.
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions.
Ability to exert heavy physical effort and handle average-weight objects up to 50 pounds.
Ability to navigate the jobsite.

Responsibilities
