About The Position

The Estimating Intern will complete various tasks on the jobsite safely, responsibly, and productively to gain insight into industry practices and trends. The role offers practical experience to supplement academic coursework, with opportunities to contribute to projects and learn from team members and managers.

Requirements

Must be enrolled in a degree program at a college or university.
Must possess prior work experience in any field.
Be willing to ask co-workers and foremen questions to learn, avoid unsafe situations or conditions, and be a team player.
Ability to communicate with all co-workers.
Ability to perform basic mathematical processes, including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, percentages, and ratios.
Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work with co-workers at all levels in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to deal with problems involving specific variables in standardized situations.
Ability to comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and hazardous-material information.
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-based instructions.
Ability to exert heavy physical effort and handle average-weight objects up to 50 pounds.
Ability to navigate the jobsite.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with team members on specific projects or tasks.
