About The Position

Glowbar provides customized 30-minute facial treatments and is hiring an Esthetician for its Hoboken, New Jersey studio. New graduates are welcome. Before working in a studio, Estheticians receive a training program valued at $10,000 and join a supportive team with pathways to senior and leadership roles. The position involves delivering Glowbar’s specialized, repeatable treatment technique in a high-volume, fast-paced studio and providing client-focused skincare services and education. The role may be full-time, part-time, or peak-day only. Full-time availability requires five open days, including both weekend days; part-time requires three open days, including both weekend days; peak-day-only requires at least one day every week on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is needed to meet client demand. Studios are energetic, on-your-feet environments involving movement throughout the shift and occasional work around stairs, varying temperatures, and laundry-room humidity.

Requirements

Hold a validated temporary or permanent Esthetician license.
Have a genuine passion for skincare, client care, and continuous learning.
Bring a warm, professional presence and a hospitality-first mindset.
Have flexible availability, including weekends; exact open-day availability depends on whether the role is full-time, part-time, or peak-day only.
Be comfortable standing, walking, and moving throughout a full shift.
Be able to bend, reach, and lift up to 15 pounds.
Be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet client demand.

Responsibilities

Deliver Glowbar’s customized 30-minute facial consistently and with care.
Perform specialized services, including extractions, dermaplaning, nano infusion, LED therapy, and high-frequency treatments.
Educate clients about skincare ingredients and at-home routines, and develop customized treatment plans with product recommendations.
Document detailed client notes, build lasting client relationships, and guide clients toward memberships to support their skincare goals.
Maintain sanitation standards and keep the studio and treatment room clean and client-ready before and after appointments.
Collaborate with Studio Guides and Managers and assist at the front desk when needed.
Represent Glowbar through professional presentation, personality, and client education.
Work toward monthly product sales of $1,000 or more with support from the company.
