About The Position

Under general supervision, the Esthetician provides high-quality facial and dermatological treatments to address skincare concerns. Advises clients, suggests treatments, and apply prescribed treatments as they relate to individual needs. May use mechanical and electrical apparatuses and devices, in addition to the use of oils, creams, and ointments, to perform procedures. Greets guests upon arrival and checks them in for treatment. Provides a tour of the facility and explains the use of lockers, showers, lounges, or other amenities. Escorts guests to treatment rooms and notifies therapists that guests are ready. Provides basic housekeeping and stocks towels or supplies as needed. Schedules and confirms appointments. May answer questions about products or services, or provide customer service in the spa’s retail area. All other duties as assigned. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision, and values of Phoebe. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Vocational / Technical Degree (Required)
0 - 1 year Experience working in a spa or salon environment (Required)
Esthetician License recognized by the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology

Performs other duties as required and completes all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures.
Maintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self education, attends ongoing educational programs).
Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time.
Demonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs. For non-clinical areas, has attended training and demonstrates usage of age-specific customer service skills.
Wears protective clothing and equipment as appropriate.
