About The Position

Offit Kurman is seeking an Estates and Trusts Attorney to join our New York City office to support our expanding private client services practice. Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience practicing trusts and estates law
• Licensed to practice law in New York

Nice To Haves

• Some experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families on advanced planning strategies (e.g., GRATs, SLATs, CRATs)
• Exposure to estate and trust administration

Responsibilities

• Drafting a broad range of estate planning documents, including wills, revocable trusts, and irrevocable trusts, as well as related ancillary documents (powers of attorney, healthcare directives, etc.)
• Managing day-to-day estate planning needs for individuals and families, including straightforward and moderately complex planning engagements
• Managing client relationships, gathering information, and translating client goals into clear, practical estate plans
• Advising high-net-worth individuals and families on advanced planning strategies (e.g., GRATs, SLATs, CRATs)
• Advising on estate and trust administration
