About The Position

This is a client-facing, detail-oriented legal support role that plays a key part in managing estate planning matters from start to finish. You will work closely with attorneys and clients-both in person and remotely-ensuring that client information is accurate, timelines are met, and each matter moves efficiently through our process. This role requires strong organization, follow-through, and the ability to balance administrative precision with a high level of client care. This position operates under attorney supervision. You will support legal processes but will not provide legal advice or guidance to clients. Maintaining appropriate professional boundaries is essential.

  • NC Notary Public (or willingness to become one)

  • Associate degree or higher (preferred) or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain accurate data in the firm's CRM and drafting platforms
  • Schedule and coordinate client meetings, including rescheduling as needed
  • Communicate with clients by phone and email to gather required information
  • Track estate planning matters from start to completion to ensure timely progress
  • Assist with estate plan document preparation, proofreading, and organization
  • Triage incoming legal team emails and determine appropriate next steps
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping records in the billing system
  • Support document signing meetings, including notarizing or witnessing documents
  • Manage calendars, deadlines, and follow-ups for the legal team
  • Handle sensitive client and financial information with confidentiality and care
  • Provide general support to the legal and administrative teams as needed
