About The Position

Williams Parker, the region’s largest and oldest law firm founded in 1925 is seeking an experienced Estate and Trust Litigation Attorney to join our growing team in Sarasota, Florida. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator with 10+ years of experience handling complex estate, trust, and inheritance litigation involving will and trust contests and interpretation, fiduciary disputes (including breach, removal, surcharge, compensation, and Prudent Investor Rule claims), estate and trust accounting matters, elective share and other spousal rights proceedings, creditor claims against decedents, pre‑litigation estate and trust disputes, and advising fiduciaries on marshalling assets.
Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Florida and bring a demonstrated record of trial advocacy in estate and trust litigation matters. While a portable book of business in trusts and estates litigation is highly preferred, we are equally interested in attorneys with a strong reputation, deep experience, and the ability to contribute meaningfully to a sophisticated litigation practice.

Requirements

• Education: Earned a Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Licensure: Maintains active membership in The Florida Bar in good standing.
• Experience: Brings extensive civil trial litigation experience focused on complex trusts and estates disputes.
• Client Service & Relationship Building: Demonstrates a strong commitment to client service excellence in a fast-paced, collegial environment while building trusted relationships with clients, colleagues, investigators, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel.
