About The Position
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Esports Coach to lead an in-person after-school esports program for middle and/or high school students. This role focuses on creating a fun, structured environment where students can build teamwork, improve gameplay, and develop confidence through gaming. Programs may include (but are not limited to): Rocket League, Super Smash Bros., Fortnite, Minecraft, Valorant, Apex Legends, and more.
Requirements
- Experience working with kids or teens (teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, etc.)
- Familiarity with popular video games or esports titles
- Ability to manage a group and keep students engaged
- Reliable, organized, and professional
- Strong communication skills

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise in-person esports sessions
- Teach basic to intermediate gameplay strategy and teamwork
- Organize simple practices, scrimmages, or friendly competitions
- Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for students
- Manage equipment and ensure students stay on task
- Communicate with program coordinators as needed
