ESOP Attorney
About The Position
Stevens & Lee is seeking a highly qualified attorney with at least seven years of experience to join its growing national ESOP practice. Ideal candidates will have experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and capital market transactions. The breadth of this practice within the firm allows us to welcome candidates located anywhere in the country. Locations in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, California, New England and North Carolina markets are preferred. Multi-state licensure is a plus. Requirements

Responsibilities
- ESOP transactions: Sales of equity to ESOPs and related transaction financing.
- M&A: Acquisitions of stock or assets by ESOP-owned companies and sales of ESOP-owned businesses.
- ESOP compliance: Ongoing compliance and advisory support.
