The NECC Center for Adult Education is seeking dedicated ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) instructors to teach in-person ESOL classes across Levels 1-6. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting adult English language learners and is committed to creating an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment that promotes student growth and success. This role requires knowledge of ESL/ESOL instructional strategies, strong communication skills, and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of adult learners. Non-Credit Instructors are hired on an as needed basis. Instruction is delivered face-to-face on the Lawrence campus, with courses scheduled during evening hours. Non-Credit Instructor positions are an "Open Pool" for the Fall 26/Spring 27 Academic Year. There may or may not be available openings at this time however, when an opening does occur, the hiring manager will draw from the pool of applicants we have on file on an as needed basis.
