About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Escrow Officer - Closer to join the team of a busy title insurance company in Lexington. This is an in-office position. The role combines escrow operations and sales, providing a top-tier experience for clients, agents, lenders, and partners while building relationships with real estate professionals.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as an Escrow Officer or equivalent experience in an escrow background.
• Must be a Notary Public.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to understand and write instructions, correspondence, and memos with proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Computer competency, including Microsoft Office; keyboarding and data-entry skills; basic math skills; phone and customer-service skills; spelling; and proofreading.
• Comfort speaking with realtors and lenders and acting as their go-to resource.
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and professional.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Licensed Title Insurance Agent, or willingness to become licensed within 90 days.
• Qualia certification.
• Familiarity with title software systems, GSuite, and Gmail.

Responsibilities

• Manage and close a pipeline of residential and commercial title transactions from opening through funding.
• Interpret and execute buyer, seller, and lender instructions accurately.
• Order and review title commitments, clear title issues, and prepare title and escrow documents.
• Coordinate and conduct closings, including final disbursements and recordings.
• Provide service to clients, agents, lenders, and partners.
• Serve as a resource to realtors and loan officers, supporting their growth and success.
• Attend and participate in in-house agent events, trainings, and outreach to drive business.
• Build and grow a network of real estate professionals through proactive outreach and responsiveness.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
