About The Position

Delan Associates is seeking candidates for Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) opportunities in the Tallahassee, Florida area. The posting describes several ERP roles; ERP Team Lead is the first role listed. The ERP Team Lead provides overall direction and integration for a specific ERP module, functional area, or business area. The role understands the relevant business strategy, works with the team to define business requirements, and coordinates with other Team Leads, business leadership, and the Project Manager to integrate enterprise processes and modules.

The Team Lead oversees and monitors critical-path activities, resolves or escalates issues, and drives the design and implementation of business processes, organizational structures, and ERP configuration. The role requires in-depth knowledge of the supported business function and the credibility to represent it. The Team Lead influences business leadership and management decisions and builds ownership and acceptance of business changes. It is a middle-level management role under general direction of senior management, typically managing and mentoring supervisors, project leads, and/or technical staff. The posting also describes five other ERP roles: ERP Team Member, ERP Configurer, ERP Programmer/Analyst, ERP Systems Support Specialist, ERP Systems Administrator, and Basis/ALE Technical Consultant.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 7 years of IT and business work experience, including managing teams responsible for systems implementation and/or infrastructure support.
• In-depth understanding of the supported business function or process.
• Ability to influence business leadership and management decisions and drive acceptance of business changes.
• Ability to work through consensus decision-making with other Team Leads and negotiate business process decisions with business leadership and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction and integration for a specific ERP module, functional area, or business area.
• Understand the business strategy for the assigned area and work with the team to define business requirements.
• Coordinate with other Team Leads, business leadership, and the Project Manager to integrate processes and modules across the enterprise.
• Oversee, define, and monitor critical-path activities; resolve issues or escalate them to the Project Manager.
• Drive the design and implementation of business processes, organizational structures, and ERP configuration.
• Represent the supported business function credibly and influence leadership and management decisions to promote ownership and acceptance of change.
• Manage and mentor supervisors, project leads, and/or technical staff.
