About The Position

The ERP System Analyst will work as part of a small IT team of two and will be responsible for the administration, support, and continuous improvement of the organization’s ERP environment, currently supporting approximately 130 users. This role focuses on user access management, end-user support and training, reporting and data extraction, and collaboration with both internal stakeholders and the external ERP vendor. The position offers the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in Microsoft Business Central across accounting, finance, and other business functions.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience providing support, administration, and troubleshooting for business applications, preferably ERP systems.
  • Hands-on experience managing software applications, including tasks such as managing end-user access rights, creating and deleting users, and coordinating with software vendors.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use sort and filter functions, VLOOKUP (or equivalent lookup functions), pivot tables, and linked spreadsheets.
  • Experience troubleshooting IT issues and providing end-user support in a structured, customer-focused manner.
  • Ability and eagerness to train into a Microsoft Business Central subject matter expert role supporting accounting, finance, and other end users.
  • Working knowledge of SQL sufficient to gather data and documents from databases, including legacy SAP databases, for reporting and audit purposes.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with data, reports, and user access controls.
  • Ability to work independently in a small IT team, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple requests simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Administer the ERP system for approximately 130 users, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient operation.
  • Manage ERP user access levels, including creating, modifying, and removing user accounts in the ERP system.
  • Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for ERP and related applications, resolving end-user issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Serve as a point of contact for application support and basic help desk inquiries related to ERP and other business software.
  • Deliver end-user training on ERP functionality and related processes, ensuring users understand system capabilities and best practices.
  • Maintain, update, and improve training documentation and user guides for ERP and other supported applications.
  • Collaborate closely with accounting and finance teams to generate financial and inventory reports from the ERP system.
  • Extract and prepare data from the ERP and legacy SAP databases, using SQL where needed, to support auditors and other stakeholders.
  • Work directly with the ERP system vendor located in Spain to address system issues, enhancements, and configuration changes.
  • Manage and maintain a SharePoint site used for ISO, HR, and policy documentation, ensuring content is organized and up to date.
  • Support the ongoing development of Microsoft Business Central as a core ERP platform, with the goal of becoming a subject matter expert for accounting, finance, and other end users.
  • Ensure appropriate controls and documentation are in place for user access, data integrity, and system changes.
  • Participate in identifying opportunities to improve business processes through better use of ERP functionality and reporting.

Benefits

  • The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
