Under moderate direction, the ERP Analyst is responsible for configuring, documenting, testing, modifying, and maintaining ERP applications. This role involves collaborating with business partners to examine, design, and implement robust employer solutions, documenting system requirements, developing functional design documentation, configuring solutions, and ensuring thorough unit/integration testing to meet customer expectations. The analyst must possess excellent problem-solving techniques and will partner with colleagues to develop and implement new solutions to optimize company processes, leading to efficiencies and cost savings. The position may involve more complex build and configuration tasks and resolving advanced issues. The ERP Analyst provides IT support to end users to ensure reliable application system availability and performance and is responsible for system integrity. They provide direction and support to team members to ensure work efforts deliver the highest business value and/or reduce system use burden. The role also includes working with functional analysts and/or business owners to optimize the effectiveness of the ERP system through workflow analysis, data collection/reporting, and end-user training, with a focus on process improvement. The analyst creates effective technical reports, demonstrations, and instructional manuals to document systems development and offer ERP software upgrade recommendations, and develops test scripts and processes for ensuring the integrity of the ERP system. Other duties and tasks may be assigned. The ERP Analyst may be viewed as a subject matter expert on specific modules within one or more enterprise-wide systems.
