About The Position

HF Sinclair is seeking an ERP Programmer III in Dallas, TX. This role involves performing various programming tasks in ABAP and Java, focusing on interfaces, workflow, and forms. The programmer will collaborate within a project team, working with business, functional, and technical members to meet project deadlines for RICEFW objects. Responsibilities include developing and implementing best practices for technology management, leading efforts to establish technical standards, and coordinating with business/functional analysts on conversion and interface projects. The role also entails creating and maintaining reports, forms, interfaces, and enhancements, troubleshooting ABAP programming issues, and collaborating on system implementation and upgrade strategies. Additionally, the position provides back-end support for PI or XI Exchange infrastructure, develops Salesforce Flows using declarative tools, builds Salesforce user interfaces with Apex, LWC, Lighting Aura Visualforce, and JavaScript, and integrates Salesforce with external applications using APIs. The programmer will also develop and maintain systems through deployment and management processes, conduct design tasks for moderately complex systems, analyze and evaluate information for system design, customize core application logic using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML for Marketing and Sales Cloud, address defect resolution, perform data maintenance, and manage refresh and deployment activities for Salesforce releases.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of experience in a related occupation performing each of the following: developing Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) software programs in SAP; Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) report writing using ABAP List Viewer, SAP scripts, Smart Forms, and ABAP Query; Dialog programming and integrating system Business Ad-Ins (BADIs), Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPIs), Remote Function Calls (RFCs), Business Transaction Events (BTEs), Intermediate Documents (IDocs), and Application Link Enabling/Electronic Data Interchange (ALE/EDI); and managing data migration and system conversions using user exits, enhancements, Batch Data Communication (BDC), and Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW).
  • Experience developing Salesforce Flows using declarative development tools.
  • Experience building Salesforce user interfaces using Apex, Lighting Web Components (LWC), Lighting Aura Visualforce, and JavaScript.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external applications using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Experience developing and maintaining systems through deployment and management processes.
  • Experience conducting design tasks for moderately complex systems.
  • Experience analyzing, compiling, and evaluating information for system design, providing recommendations to project management.
  • Experience customizing core application logic using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML for Marketing and Sales Cloud based on business requirements.
  • Experience addressing immediate defect resolution to meet project goals and standards.
  • Experience performing data maintenance and clean-up to ensure data accuracy in production.
  • Experience managing refresh and deployment activities for major Salesforce and project release.
