About The Position

The ERP Manager is responsible for the ownership, governance, reliability, enhancement, and continuous improvement of McCoy Global’s Epicor ERP environment and related business applications. This role serves as the business and technical owner of the ERP platform, ensuring Epicor is stable, secure, scalable, well-governed, and aligned with operational and strategic business requirements across the organization. The successful candidate will own the ERP roadmap, governance framework, upgrade strategy, support model, enhancement backlog, data standards, security controls, reporting enablement, and cross-functional process improvement initiatives. This position provides leadership and hands-on ownership for ERP governance, system upgrades, user support, issue resolution, integration, reporting, training, change management, and continuous improvement across multiple manufacturing facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered
  • Minimum 7 years of ERP experience in a manufacturing/product assembly environment, including demonstrated ERP ownership, governance, upgrades, support, and continuous improvement responsibility
  • Strong SQL Server experience
  • Experience with SSRS reports, ERP reporting, operational dashboards, data extracts, and governed reporting definitions
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into system solutions, process improvements, training plans, and governance controls
  • Strong project leadership, stakeholder management, vendor coordination, analytical, problem-solving, and executive communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, influence cross-functional teams, and take ownership of enterprise ERP outcomes
  • Willingness to travel as required

Responsibilities

  • Own the Epicor ERP platform and related business applications, including governance, reliability, configuration standards, security roles, data integrity, and system performance.
  • Establish and maintain the ERP governance framework, including standards for system changes, configuration control, master data discipline, documentation, and approval workflows.
  • Own the ERP roadmap, enhancement backlog, upgrade calendar, support model, and business process standardization plan.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather, document, evaluate, and prioritize business requirements and translate business needs and operational priorities into ERP roadmap and prioritized enhancement backlog.
  • Lead system enhancement initiatives from requirements through design, testing, deployment, adoption, and stabilization.
  • Own the ERP upgrade and release calendar, including implementation planning, execution, testing, deployment, business readiness, post-implementation stabilization, and proper change management governance.
  • Own the ERP support model, including intake, triage, prioritization, escalation, resolution tracking, communication, and recurring issue analysis.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for Epicor ERP issues and maintain ownership through resolution.
  • Develop and maintain ERP training materials, standard work, user guides, process documentation, and knowledge base content.
  • Drive process improvements, standardization and training that improve efficiency, transaction accuracy, reporting reliability, user productivity, and business control.
  • Oversee ERP reporting including SQL queries, SSRS reports, data extracts, dashboards, and analytics to ensure reporting solutions align with governed data definitions and business requirements.
  • Establish data quality expectations and partner with process owners to improve master data accuracy, transaction discipline, and reporting consistency.
  • Own the support and governance of Epicor-integrated applications, including integrations, automation, DMT activities, data workflows, and controlled data updates.
  • Coordinate troubleshooting, resolution, and change management for integrations, third-party applications, system enhancements, implementations, acquisitions, and data migrations.
  • Ensure integrated systems follow approved standards for architecture, security, data integrity, documentation, and change management controls.
