About The Position

This position will be serving as a liaison in the proper implementation of our ergonomic program. The successful candidate must be willing to work in any department that may include but not limited to the harvest and processing floors. Tyson is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements

  • Must have basic computer skills to include data entry to Excel and utilizing other Microsoft Office software (ex. Word, Powerpoint, Outlook).
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • No more than 6 attendance points.
  • No suspension on record for the last 12 months.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison in the proper implementation of the ergonomic program.
  • Daily interaction with Team Members in the HMP program.
  • Investigation of new illness cases to ensure effective root cause prevention and that preventative measures are being followed on each shift.
  • Writing and follow-up of work orders in SAP.
  • Prepare and conduct Monthly Ergo meetings for senior management.
  • Performing various ergonomic audits and entering information to tracking systems.
  • Facilitating ergonomic program awareness training at the hourly level.
  • Knife sharpness audits.
  • Assisting AHTs with fitting new Team Members with the proper equipment.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
