About The Position
This position is for an ERC Assistant at Lincoln Savage Middle School. The role involves working with a team of assistants and special needs students, understanding age-appropriate behavioral issues, and potentially assisting with basic computer operations. The assistant will work one-on-one or in small groups, discipline with dignity, take initiative, and be self-directed. The job requires the ability to stand, walk, or sit on the floor while working with students, and the physical capacity to lift, move, or restrain a student regularly. The position requires meeting the standard for a highly qualified para-professional.
Requirements

- High School Diploma or GED required
- Two (2) years of college coursework or Associate’s Degree (may be waived pending successful performance on skills test administered by the District)
- Person filling this position will have to be fingerprinted
- Must qualify or be able to meet standard for highly qualified para-professional
