About The Position

The Custodian position at Lincoln Savage Middle School is a full-time role with 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, for 260 days per year. The compensation ranges from $19.54 to $24.75 per hour, with placement dependent on prior contracted educational experience. New hires will be placed at Step 1 through 9. Employees in qualifying positions will receive a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, and will receive contributions to their PERS retirement accounts. Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Working knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment in school housekeeping and ability to use them with skill and efficiency.
Ability to exercise care in the use of cleaning materials for different types of building surfaces.
Skill in the use of electrical and hand appliances ordinarily used in housekeeping activities.
Ability to make minor repairs and adjustments to structures and equipment.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Physical strength to withstand the strain of performing eight hours of manual tasks.
High moral standards and character necessary for association with children.
Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with other staff members, students and general public.
Ability to understand, interpret and follow instructions.
Ability to use email desired.
