About The Position
Points East Veterinary Emergency Hospital in Fayetteville, North Carolina is seeking an ER/UC Veterinary Assistant or Technician to join their team. This role is part of an expansion and growth within their 7,000 square foot facility. Various schedules are available.
Requirements
- General Anatomy Knowledge
- Understanding normal vital signs and values
- General Knowledge of commonly used medications
- Have a can-do attitude and initiative
Nice To Haves
- ER or Urgent Care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Consistent Venipuncture
- Prepare and interpret a manual urinalysis
- Surgical monitoring, prep and intubation
- Set up/interpret a PCV
- EKG setup
- Triaging
- Perform well and keep calm in high volume ER
