About The Position
DocStar Medical Partners is seeking an MD/DOC for an 8-bed newly remodeled emergency department in a Critical Access Hospital in North Dakota. This is a full-time position with a start date of 5/1/2026 and is ongoing, with an initial assignment length of 3 months, extendable. The role involves 12-hour day or night alternating rotations, with a preference for night coverage. The daily patient census is 20+, with varying acuity. The position requires proficiency in all standard ACLS, PALS, and NRP procedures. The EMR system used is Epic. The facility has 24/7 RN Emergency room staff, radiology staff, and lab technicians, with a Hospitalist in-house/on call for admissions.
Requirements
- MD/DOC
- BC (Board Certified)
- IMLC/ND License
- Experience as an ER Doctor
- Proficiency in ACLS, PALS, NRP
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care in a Critical Access Hospital setting.
- Manage a daily census of 20+ patients with varying acuity.
- Perform all standard ACLS, PALS, and NRP procedures.
- Work 12-hour Day or Night alternating rotations, with a preference for night coverage.
