About The Position

This position is located in Lebanon, New Hampshire, and works Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. The role cleans, decontaminates, prepares equipment for use, and provides maintenance and repair. It ensures adequate supplies and equipment are available and ready for patient use. The position includes a 10% evening shift differential, and DH benefits begin on the first day of employment.

Requirements

High school graduation.
Two years of experience in mechanical repair, electronics, and equipment maintenance.
Advanced schooling on specific mechanical ventilation devices.

Responsibilities

Disassemble, clean, and decontaminate equipment.
Reassemble equipment, perform safety checks, and prepare it for use.
Perform preventative maintenance and maintain a maintenance log.
Perform diagnostic testing on standardized and specialty-use equipment; assess function, conduct evaluations, and complete repairs.
Monitor and maintain sterilization processes for reusable equipment.
Order supplies and stock work areas to maintain adequate supply levels; conduct weekly inventory and order supplies from outside vendors.
Act as an educational resource for clinical staff regarding the mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical function of equipment.
Participate in evaluating and ordering capital equipment for the department.
Meet with vendors as needed to evaluate supplies and equipment for purchase.
Participate in Quality Assurance activities.
Perform related duties as required or assigned.
