Operating Room Equipment Tech
About The Position
Under the general supervision of the Director of Surgical Services and the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Equipment Tech supports the safe and efficient operation of the surgical department. The role helps ensure patient care services are delivered in accordance with the hospital’s mission, vision, and goals. Duties include transporting patients, maintaining a clean and sterile environment, managing equipment and supplies, and assisting during surgery by holding retractors under supervision. The Retractor Holder contributes to infection control, supports the surgical team, and helps maintain the operating room’s workflow.
Requirements
