About The Position

We are seeking an Equipment Technician to support manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and equipment reliability.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
1–3 years of relevant experience in equipment engineering, maintenance, or manufacturing equipment support preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment, with hands-on troubleshooting and repair experience.
Familiarity with solar cell production equipment such as screen printers, diffusion furnaces, wet benches, and PECVD systems is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
Ability to work assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, and other non-standard hours as required.
Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Proficiency with maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Commitment to workplace safety, quality, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with solar cell production equipment such as screen printers, diffusion furnaces, wet benches, and PECVD systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Monitor equipment operation during assigned shifts and make necessary adjustments to maintain production efficiency.
Collaborate with production teams to resolve equipment-related issues and support uninterrupted manufacturing processes.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair actions, and prepare shift reports as needed.
Follow established maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Assist with the setup and calibration of new equipment and support equipment upgrades and modifications.
Participate in shift handovers and communicate ongoing issues, completed tasks, and relevant updates to incoming teams.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and equipment optimization.
Work assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, or other non-standard hours as required by operational needs.
