Equipment Serviceman Journeyman
About The Position
PacifiCorp is seeking customer-centric candidates to grow and sustain our commitment to a culture of customer service excellence, environmental sustainability, inclusion and belonging. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can excel with little supervision, is qualified to perform all repairs and maintenance work on automotive and utility work equipment including hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic driven components and equipment, and can work safely in a shop environment obeying all OSHA regulations. The role requires excellent customer service skills and the demonstrated ability to work safely in remote areas in all types of weather conditions, along with a safe driving record.
Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent.
- Must be a Journeyman Equipment Serviceman; or have 5 years verifiable automotive mechanic experience.
- Must pass a Rocky Mountain Power Journeyman Mechanic test, provided by the company.
- Must possess or able to obtain a class A CDL license within 90 days of hire.
- Must supply own hand tools common for journeyman mechanics.
Nice To Haves
- Derrick and aerial equipment repair experience.
Responsibilities
- Repair of all types of mobile equipment and tools, to include all light, medium and heavy duty gas and diesel engine equipment.
- Repair of hydraulic operated aerial and man lift devices.
- Performance of the SAP PM program to minimize equipment downtime and unexpected cost.
- Overseeing of vendors to ensure repairs are done to Pacificorp standards.
- Processing of billing to ensure timely vendor payment.
