About The Position

Forklift Systems is a rapidly growing, family-owned company with over 45 years in business and a recipient of 50+ top dealer awards in the material handling industry. We are a leading dealer for Bobcat, UniCarriers, and BYD Forklifts, as well as a provider of rack systems, aerial and boom lifts, floor sweepers and scrubbers, industrial vehicles, and allied products. We are seeking an Equipment Sales Representative to manage and grow an established territory on the north and eastern sides of Nashville, extending into southern Kentucky. This role offers significant earning potential, with a base salary plus commission, and opportunities for motivated individuals, including those without prior forklift sales experience, as we provide comprehensive training.

Requirements

  • Minimum 40-hour work week
  • Self-motivated and organized
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • General computer literacy
  • Ability to successfully use CRM software (Pipedrive)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior forklift sales experience is not required, as training will be provided for motivated individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Sell new and used forklifts, material handling, industrial, and allied equipment
  • Develop and grow assigned territory to maximize sales potential
  • Build and implement sales plans to grow business and maintain current customer base
  • Identify and develop new accounts while maintaining existing accounts
  • Complete sales documentation, quotations, and CRM updates (Pipedrive)
  • Maintain and strengthen customer relationships
