About The Position

The Equipment Sales Executive plays a key role in driving revenue by connecting buyers and sellers of industrial equipment through the MachineryMax platform. This role handles both inbound and outbound sales activity and works across auctions, direct sales, and asset disposition opportunities. This position is open to candidates with varying levels of experience. Scope, deal size, and compensation structure may scale based on qualifications. MachineryMax is building a modern, transparent marketplace for industrial equipment. We work with sellers, buyers, and financial institutions to move assets efficiently and protect value. Requirements

  • Experience in sales, business development, or account management (industrial, equipment, or B2B sales preferred)
  • Comfortable handling both inbound inquiries and outbound prospecting
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and online sales platforms
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Agreement to maintain confidentiality, including intellectual property, client records, and proprietary business information during and after employment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound sales conversations with buyers and sellers of industrial equipment
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate MachineryMax solutions, including auctions and direct sales
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of active opportunities through follow-ups and outreach
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and timelines to close deals efficiently
  • Collaborate with internal operations, asset management, and marketing teams to support active listings
  • Maintain accurate records of activity, opportunities, and deal stages in CRM systems
  • Stay informed on market trends, equipment values, and buyer demand
