About The Position

Sentara is hiring an Equipment Resource Associate at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. This role is responsible for medical equipment supplies in a healthcare organization. Duties include cleaning and maintaining equipment, performing functional checks, and repairing or coordinating repairs before equipment is issued or reissued to patients. The stated hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in healthcare, customer service, supply chain, or another relevant area.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior CSS, OR, Surgical Services, Sterilization, or central sterile processing experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage medical equipment supplies in a healthcare organization.
• Clean and maintain medical equipment.
• Perform functional checks on equipment.
• Repair equipment or coordinate its repair before it is issued or reissued to patients.
