About The Position

UPMC Horizon - Shenango Valley's GI Lab is currently hiring an Equipment Reprocessor! This full-time role will work Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm. Additionally, travel to support UPMC Jameson would be required as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Act 34

Nice To Haves

• Central Sterile Processing and/or GI experience are preferred.
• Previous employment or training as an Endoscopy Technician or other medical specialty such as Central Service Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate accurate cleaning and disinfection procedures for all endoscopes and accessories.
• Adhere to universal infection control guidelines when cleaning and disinfecting scopes and accessories.
• Contribute to an efficient work and team environment.
• Assume responsibility for own development.
• Maintain unit standards of quality control and safety.
• Demonstrate proper handling techniques for scopes and accessories.
• Contribute to maintaining a neat, clean and safe environment.
