About The Position

The Utilities Division’s Transportation Services Department is hiring an Equipment Operator to transport materials within and outside the plant site. The role operates tractor trailers, dumpster trucks, and G.R.D. dumpster trucks. When relieving dispatchers, the operator uses the computer dispatch system.

Requirements

• Hold a current Class A CDL.
• Be able to obtain an Eastman DOT Medical Examiner Certification.
• Have familiarity with basic computer functions, including email and data entry using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Be able to perform the essential elements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Have a strong work ethic, demonstrating initiative and a professional attitude.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Hazard Materials Certification.
• WorkKeys assessment at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials within and outside the plant site.

• Work overtime as needed.
