About The Position

We are currently seeking a full-time Equipment Operator to join our GR2 team in our Orlando, FL; Memphis, TN; or Dallas, TX; office. This is an excellent opportunity to join and grow EnSafe, getting involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients across the globe. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for performing a variety of field service activities, including earthwork operations, excavation (dig and haul), demolition, and site grading. This role requires the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment in compliance with all applicable regulations, as well as company and client policies and procedures. EnSafe emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations. GR2 is a wholly owned subsidiary of EnSafe.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor in extreme weather conditions (heat and cold).
Willingness to complete required training, work variable shifts (including weekends and holidays), and travel extensively.
Strong time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication and active listening skills.
Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Finish grade/top hat operator experience.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders) safely and efficiently for earthwork, demolition, and grading projects.
Perform daily safety inspections and routine maintenance checks on assigned equipment.
Ensure equipment is properly secured and stored after use.
Adhere to all workplace safety standards and wear appropriate PPE as required.
Follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
