This role will assist in the construction of roads, sidewalks, and parking lots. Requirements

RI or MA Hoisting License
Ability to work as part of a team
Reliable transportation to and from work
Ability to stand for extended hours of time
Excellent communication and observation skills
Familiar with use of power and hand tools
Ability to follow directions
Must have a strong work ethic
Physically fit
Able to work long hours in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

Maintains and operates heavy equipment to perform excavation tasks as instructed.
Greases machines on a regular basis.
Operates different forms of equipment including the backhoe, loader, skid steer, excavator, paver, etc.
Checks equipment regularly for malfunctions and reports any issues to the supervisor.
Performs daily maintenance of machines including fueling and greasing.
Performs operational duties in a safe manner.
Works with a variety of equipment such as rollers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, and forklifts, depending on project requirements.
Performs routine maintenance checks.
Reports equipment issues.
Adheres to safety and environmental regulations at all times.
