Equipment Operator - 1st Shift
About The Position
CVS Health is seeking dependable Equipment Operators to safely use powered equipment to pick and move bulk merchandise cases in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Operators read and interpret store orders, move cases to pallets or conveyors using safe lifting techniques, conduct preliminary equipment safety checks, and secure pallets with tape and shrink wrap. They follow safety guidelines, help keep aisles clear and the work area clean, and participate in training for additional warehouse duties. The position is full-time, with 40 anticipated weekly hours and a first-shift schedule.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to operate powered equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Bulk case picking experience preferred.
- 0–2 years of warehouse or equipment operation experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to pick and move bulk merchandise cases.
- Read and interpret store orders, including item locations, descriptions, and quantities.
- Transfer cases to pallets or conveyors using safe lifting techniques.
- Perform preliminary safety checks on equipment before use.
- Secure pallets with tape and shrink wrap.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Assist with housekeeping to keep aisles clear of debris.
- Participate in training for additional warehouse duties.
